Here it is – straight from Honda: A fuel cell generates electricity by combining hydrogen and oxygen inside of a fuel cell stack. The FCX Clarity FCEV generates its own electricity on-board the vehicle inside the fuel cell. The FCX Clarity FCEV does not use any gasoline whatsoever. It runs on clean, domestically produced compressed hydrogen gas. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. This is a Zero-Emission Vehicle. Happy Earth Day, everyone!
